A Bar Mitzvah or Bat Mitzvah is an incredibly exciting and important event for the whole family. A chance to get everyone together and celebrate a really special moment in your son or daughter’s life. But this all means a lot of organisation! And the whole party planning process can be very stressful. With these few simple tips you can at least make sure that booking a Bar Mitzvah photo booth is a breeze!
Timings
First things first – what time do you want the photo booth to start and end? We think a photo booth is a great ice breaker so we would recommend starting it as soon as your party kicks off. Having around 4 hours of boothing time is perfect to make sure everyone gets their photo taken.
Location
Does your venue have plenty of room for a photo booth? With an open photo booth, you can get loads of people in every picture so make sure there is plenty of space for everyone to get in. You also need to leave room for the backdrop. We usually recommend 2.5m x 2.5 m but an open booth is flexible so don’t panic if you don’t have quite that much space.
Theme
Have you got a theme in mind? Maybe you are basing it on a favourite book, film or colour? Or you’re going for a tropical or safari style party? Whatever you have in mind, make sure you tell your photo booth operator because there are a number of ways you can incorporate your theme:
- Backdrop: We’ve got a wide range of backdrops (from glitter to hedges) which match a number of different themes. And we’re only too happy to create a custom backdrop or custom sign to match your theme. This can create a stunning feature in itself.
- Props: Again we’ve got a huge prop box full of all kinds of props (from rubber fish to giant flamingos) and we can provide props to match almost any theme. But if we haven’t got it, we can track them down!
- Print out: One of the best parts of a photo booth is getting printouts (you get unlimited photos with a PROP Photo booth package) which your guests can take home with them. We can design a print out with your event name, logo, colour or pattern theme so make sure you let us know what you have in mind.
Follow these simple steps to make sure you get the most out of your Bar Mitzvah photo booth. And if you have any other questions or would just like to chat about your event, give us a call. We’ve provided photo booths for countless Bar mitzvahs and Bat mitzvahs and we’ve also got a pretty good idea what makes a great party!
